The wolf within us

A Cherokee elder told his grandson once:

"My child, there is a battle between two wolves inside each of us.

One is evil: it's anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lie and selfish.

The other is good: it's joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness and truth".

Then the boy though about it, and asked: 

"Old man, which wolf wins the battle?"

The elder replied:

"The one you decide to feed".
